Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our professional safari representative and driver-guide. After a short safari briefing, depart Nairobi and travel south to Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views of rural landscapes along the way. Enter the park with an en-route game drive to your lodge or tented camp. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive across Amboseli’s open plains, renowned for large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Enjoy a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, starting with an early morning game drive when wildlife activity is at its peak and Kilimanjaro is most visible. After breakfast and leisure time at the lodge, head out for an afternoon game drive, visiting Amboseli’s swamps fed by underground rivers from Kilimanjaro. These swamps attract elephants, hippos, buffalo, and diverse birdlife. All meals and overnight at your lodge or camp.
Day 3: Amboseli – Namanga Border – Arusha
After breakfast, depart Amboseli for the Namanga Border, where immigration formalities will be smoothly handled. Meet your Tanzania-based driver-guide and continue to Arusha, located at the foothills of Mount Meru. Transfer to your hotel or lodge, enjoy dinner, and relax as you prepare for Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Overnight in Arusha.
Day 4: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a guided game drive through lush groundwater forests, open grasslands, and lakeshore habitats, spotting flamingos, elephants, giraffes, hippos, and the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at your lodge near Lake Manyara.
Day 5: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Depart Lake Manyara and travel through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Upon entry, enjoy an en-route game drive to your lodge or tented camp. The Serengeti’s vast plains offer exceptional predator sightings and seasonal migration experiences. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.
Day 6: Full Day in Serengeti National Park
Spend a full day on guided game drives in Serengeti National Park, with morning and afternoon sessions designed to maximize wildlife encounters. Your guide will track animal movements, offering excellent chances to see lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herbivore herds. Picnic or lodge lunch included. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.
Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ascend to the crater rim and arrive at your lodge with stunning views over the caldera. Dinner and overnight near Ngorongoro.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu / Tarangire Area
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a guided game drive on the crater floor, one of Africa’s richest wildlife environments. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, black rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and flamingos. After ascending from the crater, continue to Karatu or the Tarangire area for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Tarangire National Park – Departure
After breakfast, enjoy a game drive in Tarangire National Park, famous for its elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and seasonal wildlife movements. After the game drive, transfer to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight, marking the end of your safari adventure.
