Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival Nairobi & Bomas of Kenya Cultural Experience

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet our representative and transfer to your hotel for check-in and refreshment.

Later visit Bomas of Kenya where you will enjoy colorful traditional dances and music performed by different Kenyan tribes including Maasai, Kikuyu, Luhya and coastal communities. You will also explore traditional homesteads representing various ethnic groups and learn about architecture, family life and customs.

In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with Kenyan cuisine introducing you to local flavors and spices.

Day 2 – Nairobi to Maasai Mara (Great Rift Valley & Game Drive)

After breakfast depart Nairobi driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley escarpment. Stop at the famous viewpoint for photos and explanation of Africa’s geological formation.

Continue towards the Maasai Mara arriving at the lodge/camp in time for lunch.

In the afternoon head out for your first thrilling Maasai Mara game drive where you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions and antelopes across the endless savannah plains.

Return to camp for dinner and overnight surrounded by nature sounds.

Day 3 – Wildlife & Maasai Culture Experience

Early morning game drive — the best time to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas returning from the hunt.

After lunch, visit a nearby Maasai village (Manyatta) for a deep cultural interaction:

Traditional welcome dance and songs
Beadwork demonstration by Maasai women
Warrior training techniques (jumping & spear skills)
Learn cattle-based lifestyle and survival traditions
Enter traditional mud houses

Return to camp for relaxation and dinner.

Day 4 – Full Day Safari & Storytelling

Spend a full day exploring deeper areas of the reserve including river crossing zones famous during the Great Migration season.

Track the Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino while your guide explains animal behavior and ecosystem balance.

Picnic lunch will be served in the wild overlooking the savannah plains.

In the evening, enjoy a unique cultural moment — storytelling session with a Maasai elder around the campfire learning myths, traditions and history passed through generations.

Day 5 – Return to Nairobi & Women Cooperative Visit

After breakfast depart Maasai Mara and drive back to Nairobi.

Visit Kazuri Beads Women Cooperative, a social enterprise empowering local women producing handmade ceramic jewelry exported worldwide. Learn the bead-making process and support sustainable tourism.

Later transfer to the airport for your international departure.
