Safari Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, meet your safari guide and depart for Lake Naivasha, driving through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the viewpoint for scenic photos before continuing to your lodge. After lunch, enjoy an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha to spot hippos and water birds, or visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, journey to the iconic Maasai Mara, passing through Narok town and sweeping savannah landscapes. Arrive in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive. The Mara is famous for its exceptional wildlife density, including lions, elephants, buffalo, cheetahs, and giraffes. Return to your lodge at sunset for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Maasai Mara, with opportunities to explore deep into the reserve. Packed lunches allow uninterrupted wildlife viewing. During migration season, witness vast herds of wildebeest and zebra. The Mara River is home to hippos and Nile crocodiles, while predators roam the open plains. Dinner and overnight at your camp or lodge.

After an early breakfast, depart for the Isebania border and complete immigration formalities before continuing into Tanzania. Meet your Serengeti guide and enjoy an en-route game drive into Serengeti National Park, home to expansive plains and abundant wildlife. Dinner and overnight in Serengeti.

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti’s vast ecosystems, following wildlife movements and predator activity. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Expect sightings of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of grazers. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

After breakfast, enjoy a final Serengeti game drive before heading toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive at your lodge near the crater rim, offering spectacular views of the caldera below. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, zebras, wildebeest, and hyenas within the crater floor. Return to your lodge in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

After breakfast, proceed to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and towering baobab trees. Game drives follow the Tarangire River, a vital water source attracting diverse wildlife. Alternatively, visit Lake Manyara National Park, known for tree-climbing lions and rich birdlife. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast, transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport according to your flight schedule, marking the end of your unforgettable Kenya–Tanzania safari experience.

Price guide – below are factors that affect our costing

  • Safari Style – Prices differ based on whether you choose a budget, mid-range, or luxury safari, with higher-end options offering private guides, premium lodges, and exclusive experiences.
  • Accommodation: Safari stays range from standard lodges to luxury and ultra-luxury camps. Prices vary based on location, comfort, exclusivity, and even among hotels within the same category.
  • Season & Travel Dates – Rates are higher during peak seasons such as July–October and December, while low seasons offer better value and fewer crowds.
  • Group Size & Privacy – Safari prices are influenced by the number of travelers—the larger the group, the lower the cost per person, while smaller or private safaris cost more due to personalized service and exclusive use of the vehicle and guide.
  • Booking Period & Availability – Early bookings often secure better rates and availability, while last-minute bookings may attract higher prices, especially in peak season
  • Meal & Beverage Plans – Standard meal plans are usually included, while premium drinks, private dining, or special dietary arrangements may affect pricing.
  • Internal Flights & TransfersDomestic flights between parks or luxury airstrip transfers can increase the overall safari cost but save time and enhance comfort.
  • Special Experiences – Activities such as hot air balloon safaris, private bush dinners, cultural visits, or walking safaris are optional add-ons and priced separately.
