Day 1 – Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Nestled between Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro, this peaceful town serves as Tanzania’s safari gateway.
The remainder of the day is dedicated to relaxation and safari briefing. Enjoy the tranquil gardens, refreshing pool, and fine cuisine as you prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2 – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its towering baobab trees and extraordinary elephant population.
Your afternoon game drive reveals large herds of elephants gathering along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. Lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and diverse antelope species roam these vast landscapes. The park’s dramatic scenery and fewer crowds provide a more intimate safari experience. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.
Day 3 – Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After a morning drive through Tarangire, journey toward the Serengeti via the scenic highlands. As you enter Serengeti National Park, the landscape opens into endless golden plains stretching to the horizon.
An en-route game drive introduces you to Africa’s most famous wildlife sanctuary. Predators are abundant here, and sightings often begin immediately. Arrive at your camp in time for sunset, when the sky transforms into brilliant hues over the savannah.
Day 4 – Full Day in Serengeti (Big Cat Tracking)
Today is devoted to exploring the Serengeti ecosystem with special focus on tracking big cats. With your experienced guide, follow lion prides, search for elusive leopards resting in riverine trees, and observe cheetahs scanning the plains for prey.
The Serengeti’s rich prey base supports one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa. Depending on the season, you may also witness the Great Migration herds moving across the plains. A picnic lunch in the bush allows uninterrupted time in this extraordinary wilderness.
Day 5 – Morning Game Drive & Continue to Ngorongoro
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, proceed toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
The landscape gradually shifts from open plains to lush highlands as you ascend toward the crater rim. Arrive at your lodge overlooking the vast caldera, offering breathtaking views and cooler mountain air.
Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Transfer to Arusha (via Hadzabe Visit)
Descend early into the Ngorongoro Crater for a remarkable half-day safari. This UNESCO World Heritage Site hosts dense wildlife populations within its enclosed ecosystem, including lions, elephants, buffalo, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino.
After ascending the crater, travel toward Lake Eyasi for a cultural encounter with the Hadzabe tribe. Learn about their traditional hunting techniques and ancient lifestyle that has endured for generations. Later continue to Arusha for overnight.
Day 7 – Arusha to Amboseli (Evening Game Drive)
After breakfast, cross the border into Kenya and proceed to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before heading out for an evening game drive.
Amboseli is world-famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets behind Africa’s highest peak, wildlife silhouettes create unforgettable photographic moments.
Day 8 – Full Day in Amboseli
Spend the day exploring Amboseli’s diverse habitats, including swamps fed by underground springs from Kilimanjaro’s glaciers. Elephants gather in impressive numbers, while lions, cheetahs, hyenas, and abundant birdlife add to the park’s richness.

Day 9 – Amboseli to Lake Nakuru
